Todd Boss Takes the Helm at Acrisure Mortgage

Acrisure Mortgage has promoted Todd Boss to president, the company announced Thursday. Boss succeeds Joe Nunziata, who was recently elevated to president of Acrisure Real Estate Services, the broader unit that now oversees the firm's mortgage, title and real estate businesses. Boss will run day-to-day operations for the mortgage platform and report to Nunziata.

Boss has spent more than 30 years in the mortgage industry and joined Acrisure Mortgage's executive leadership team in 2009. He most recently served as chief sales officer, according to the company, and was responsible for building out its national sales organization. The lender said Boss helped expand its national footprint and deepen relationships with customers, employees and business partners.

Acrisure Mortgage reports more than 630 employees nationwide and licenses in 49 states. Industry data cited by HousingWire lists 98 producing loan officers as of Aug. 10 and $1.8 billion in 12-month loan volume, with the bulk in conventional and Federal Housing Administration loans. As president, Boss will focus on operational efficiency, national growth, technology and the customer experience for borrowers, builders, real estate professionals and employees.

What Boss's Internal Promotion Signals for Acrisure

Why an internal promotion made sense for Acrisure

The appointment is a continuity move. Boss has been on the executive leadership team since 2009 and ran the national sales organization, so the company is choosing a known operator rather than an outside hire. That reduces leadership transition risk and keeps the sales relationships he built at the center of the mortgage business.

What the lender's scale figures suggest

The cited figures describe a mid-sized national mortgage operation: $1.8 billion in 12-month volume and 98 producing loan officers supported by more than 630 total employees. The gap between total staff and producing LOs indicates a heavily supported platform, while the conventional and FHA concentration points to a business built on mainstream purchase and government-insured lending rather than jumbo or niche products.

The real estate services alignment behind the move

Boss's promotion is described as part of a broader effort to align Acrisure's mortgage, title and real estate operations under Acrisure Real Estate Services. Nunziata sits above all three lines, while Boss focuses on mortgage. That structure suggests the company is organizing for cross-selling and a more unified real estate transaction experience rather than treating mortgage as a standalone division.
