A Washington state man has admitted to insurance fraud after claiming a 2024 car collision in Idaho knocked out every tooth in his mouth and required $80,000 in dental work. The Idaho Department of Insurance said Jeremy Joshua Antone, 55, of Ford, Washington, actually suffered no injuries in the crash, and the dental problems he cited were pre-existing.
Antone pleaded guilty on May 12 in Kootenai County to one count of insurance fraud. He was sentenced on July 14 to five years in prison, but that sentence was suspended in favor of five years of supervised probation. His probation is scheduled to end on July 13, 2031, and he has been ordered to pay $24,248 to the state of Idaho.
The case began after Antone filed an injury claim with Sentry Insurance Company following the collision. State investigators found no evidence that the impact caused the injuries he described. Idaho Department of Insurance Director Dean L.
