Red Sea Ports Log 13,000 Tons of Cargo Movement

The Red Sea Ports Authority reported that its facilities processed around 13,000 metric tons of assorted goods, 677 trucks, and 58 cars over the most recent reporting period. Passenger numbers reached 1,350, with nine ships docking or setting sail across the authority's network.

A total of four incoming vessels delivered 5,000 tons of cargo, 304 trucks, and 22 cars, while five outbound ships carried 8,000 tons of freight, 373 trucks, and 36 cars. At Safaga port, the PELAGOS Express and Al-Hurriya arrived, and POSEIDON EXPRESS, PRIDGE, and Amal departed. The port handled roughly 4,000 tons of goods and 205 trucks via scheduled shuttle trips involving the ships Al-Hussein, Sina, and Ayla.
