The eighth-team tournament kicks off on August 28 with Hong Kong facing Thailand in the opening Group A fixture, and concludes with the final on September 13.

India headline Group A alongside Pakistan, Thailand, Hong Kong and China, while defending champions Sri Lanka are in Group B with Bangladesh, UAE and Indonesia. The group stage follows a single round-robin format, with the top two from each pool advancing to the semifinals on September 10 and 11. India, the most successful side in the competition's history with seven titles (four in ODI format and three in T20Is), will be looking to reclaim the crown after Sri Lanka won the previous edition.
