The villa on a 825-square-metre plot in Leimen, Baden-Württemberg, was completed in 1992 to the designs of Becker’s father, Karl-Heinz Becker, an architect. Originally costing about 4.6 million German marks, the property is now offered through Kozlowski Immobilien for €2.98 million.
Becker, a six-time Grand Slam champion, moved into a self-contained ground-floor apartment while his parents occupied the rest. After his widely publicised 2017 bankruptcy, the family home faced forced sale. To prevent that, Becker sold the estate to tax adviser Reinhard Hofmann, while securing a lifetime right of residence for his mother Elvira, who lived there until her death in 2024.
The newly renovated villa spans roughly 586 square metres of living space, featuring ten rooms, three bathrooms, a wellness zone with sauna and whirlpool, and a distinctive almost fully glazed circular tower bedroom. The panoramic views stretch across the Rhine valley to the Palatinate mountains.
With his mother now passed, Hofmann has refreshed the property and is seeking a buyer. The listing highlights high privacy, spacious architecture, and family-friendly layout as key selling points.

The current asking price of €2.98 million suggests the villa has lost real value over three decades, partly reflecting the specific market for large, older luxury homes in Germany’s mid-sized regions and possibly the complexity of its ownership history.
A Legal Shield in Plain Sight
Boris Becker’s 2017 bankruptcy threatened all his assets, including the Leimen home. The sale to Hofmann—with a lifetime occupancy right for his mother—functioned as a protective measure from creditors, a common but delicate structure that keeps a property within immediate reach while meeting legal requirements. Such arrangements can create complications for future buyers, requiring full transparency and clean title transfer.

The Becker name adds a premium for some buyers drawn to sports history, but can also deter those seeking privacy. The listing by a local agency suggests a targeted campaign to affluent families rather than a global auction of memorabilia, indicating that the villa is being sold primarily as a residence, not a trophy asset.
