KDDI Iret's Four OCI Partner Engineer Selections

KDDI Iret, the cloud and AI integration subsidiary of Japanese telecom group KDDI, said four of its engineers have been selected for the 2026 OCI Top Partner Engineers program run by Oracle Japan.

The recognition is aimed at engineers inside Oracle PartnerNetwork companies with advanced Oracle Cloud Infrastructure expertise and a track record of supporting customer cloud adoption. KDDI Iret said the selection reflects its OCI system design, build and operations work, as well as technical support for customers.

The announcement comes during a period of accelerated OCI expansion for the company. KDDI Iret joined Oracle's Modern PartnerNetwork Cloud Sell Track in October 2020 and has since handled a full migration of a large core system running more than 100 virtual and physical servers onto OCI. Since February 2025, it has sold OCI through its cloudpack service, covering billing agency, migration assistance and monitoring and operations.

In 2026, the company added new service lines: four generative AI adoption services for development, data, security and analytics in April, followed in May by three ransomware recovery services and three services to speed OCI deployments. Oracle Japan also gave KDDI Iret a media awareness award and a fourth-place certification ranking in July 2026.
