India's Medal Hunt on Day 7 in Glasgow

Indian athletes will chase further medals on the seventh day of the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, with track and field finals, boxing quarterfinals, weightlifting and more on the schedule. The country has officially secured 12 medals so far and can add at least two more in athletics on Wednesday.

Long jumper Murali Sreeshankar and steeplechaser Parul Chaudhary headline the evening's medal events, while weightlifter Sanjana opens the Indian campaign in the women's 77kg final. In boxing, Indian pugilists can guarantee at least six bronze medals by winning their respective quarterfinal bouts across different weight categories. Para-athletes Devender Kumar and Sagar Thayat will contest the men's discus throw final, and Mohammed Basil Morssinganakath and Dilip Mahadu Gavit run in the men's 100m T47 final.
